Rooted in Legacy: The Arboretum San Antonio Journey

Watch this film feature by Robb S. García covering the Arboretum San Antonio journey. We are thrilled that this was screened during the 46th CineFestival this year on July 10. CineFestival is the nation’s original and longest-running Latino film festival, presented by the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, that focuses on Chicano, Latinx, and Native American cinema, with an emphasis on Texas and San Antonio-related films.

After a full year of listening to our community, we will reveal our final master plan design on May 10. Arboretum San Antonio’s master plan includes a four-phased approach to building and programming on-site. Phase Zero begins in June 2025 and is focused on a coordinated philanthropic and capital campaign. We anticipate being publicly accessible in some capacity in 2028.
