Logan Bartlett Hired as Chief Development Officer

Arboretum San Antonio has selected strategic fundraising professional Logan Bartlett as Chief Development Officer. He brings considerable experience in leading major gift campaigns, capital initiatives, and institutional fundraising strategies.

In this role, Bartlett will lead the development and execution of Arboretum San Antonio’s comprehensive fundraising strategy during a pivotal period of organizational growth. Working closely with ASA’s Chief Executive Officer Adriana Quiñones and the Board of Directors, he will build ASA’s development function from the ground up, guiding all advancement efforts to support annual operations, long-term sustainability, and the implementation of the Arboretum’s recently completed Master Plan.

President and CEO, Adriana Quiñones said, “Logan Bartlett brings exceptional experience from the University of Texas at Austin, and we are thrilled to welcome him as our Chief Development Officer. We are confident that his leadership and expertise will be instrumental in securing the resources needed to transform Arboretum San Antonio into a world-class arboretum for San Antonio and South Texas.”

Most recently, Bartlett served as Director of Development, Foundation Relations at The University of Texas at Austin, where he led strategic proposal development and relationship-building efforts with foundations, corporations, and individual donors. His work supported large-scale, cross-institutional initiatives and advanced funding for environmental sustainability, education, and community impact.

Previously, he held development and donor engagement roles at St. Edward’s University and The University of Texas Libraries, where he partnered closely with executive leadership and boards, managed donor portfolios, and helped strengthen philanthropic culture through annual giving programs, leadership engagement, and campaign coordination.

Bartlett said, “I am honored to serve as the first Chief Development Officer for Arboretum San Antonio and excited for the opportunity to help grow this vision into one of the premier arboretums in the country.”

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Global Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and has participated in international study and Spanish immersion programs. He brings a strong commitment to mission-driven work and a passion for leveraging philanthropy to build enduring institutions that serve communities and the environment.

After a full year of listening to our community, we will reveal our final master plan design on May 10. Arboretum San Antonio’s master plan includes a four-phased approach to building and programming on-site. Phase Zero begins in June 2025 and is focused on a coordinated philanthropic and capital campaign. We anticipate being publicly accessible in some capacity in 2028.
