Rodeo San Antonio Pop Up Event

Come see us Tuesday, February 11, as we pop into the Rodeo San Antonio Grounds with our partner Gardopia Gardens. Arboretum San Antonio will have a table with Gardopia for you to come say "HI" and learn all about our progress and plans for a tree sanctuary on our city's Southeast side. Located at the former Republic Golf Course on Southeast Military, we have secured 188 acres as a green space dedicated to trees for our community to enjoy nature. It will be a leading recreational, ecological, economic, and educational resource for residents and visitors of all ages. It will feature a 'cathedral of trees' with pedestrian and bicycle trails, a nursery to propagate native and climate-resilient trees, nature-based programming, event spaces, and public art displays.
